Trey keeps his style consistent, and for the VMA's, he was dressed to kill on the red carpet, with his modern military style outfit. The green leather jacket definitely set him apart from the other artists, who were mostly draped in black and white. The I love the high collar and the ruffled texture of the arms. I also didn't notice that his pants were dark brown until I saw the pictures. I don't know how I feel about this, I think that black would have done the job, because the brown pants paired with the green jacket push the military theme a little too far. But Trey's combat boots are perfect, they are just high enough, the tongue doesn't flop over, and they aren't too slim. Overall this was a red carpet success for Mr. Steal-your-girl.
