Even though its still dumping snow here in Boston, don't forget that spring is right around the corner. I figured I would start off the spring posts with something extravagant. The late and great Alexander McQueen's legacy continues into the Spring 2011 season with earthy excellence. I chose to only give you a glimpse of the women's heels because I appreciate the details. You can see the earthy accents of reptile skins, monarch butterflies and wheat to embellish the heels. Out of the collection, I think my favorite features are the gleaming gold toe and the wheat cuff.

BALMAIN MEN'S FALL/WINTER 2010
Here are just a few styles from the Balmain Fall/Winter 2010 look book. The men's collection is surprisingly not as flashy and fierce as the women's collection I posted before. This new men's line portrays a rugged style paired with a couple classy looks as well. For the most part, I'm just a fan of these looks from the waist up because of their successful use of layering. But I do enjoy the first 2 looks in their entirety.

BALMAIN FALL/WINTER 2010
This might be my new favorite line for women, Balmain is a french line by designer Cristophe Decarnin. Although Balmain is notoriously expensive, its worth the loans you'll be repaying for years to come...Ill add more info later
